Mathematics 333

Bring a copy of this full syllabus to class on Wednesday, August 28.

Here's my single favourite .  Look there for more information about the history of anything in mathematics.

Here is where I will place comments about presentation problems, and problems for problem sets.

The is free online, so if you want another reference for sometimes review, it's available.

We will usually be working with finite dimensional vector spaces, or nice infinite dimensional ones (like the polynomials which have an obvious basis), but things can suddenly become quite surprisingly difficult with infinite dimensional vector spaces where things suddenly go not as we expect.  , which should be at our level.

(More will be added to this page as the semester progresses.  Please ask me if there is something you would like to see included.)
