The Senior Traditions Challenge features seven traditions for seniors to complete in the spring semester. These traditions are considered unique and celebrate seniors and their transition from students to alumni.
1. Visit your first Geneseo address [photo required]
2. Order a margarita at Bar-Eat-O [photo required]
3. Play trivia at the Idle Hour [photo required]
4. Sign the wall at Kelly鈥檚 Saloon [photo required]
5. Make Your Mark with KPC [Knights鈥 Philanthropic Council]
6. Complete the Recent Graduate / New Alumni Data Collection Form
7. Pose for 鈥渃ap & gown鈥 photos; individually or with friends [photo required]

1. Visit your first Geneseo address [photo required]
- This will likely be a campus residence hall or maybe an off-campus apartment. We invite you to visit and post a picture at every campus address you had during your time at Geneseo -- this could be a nostalgic walk down memory lane.
- The form can accept up to 5 files (pictures) for this challenge.
2. Order a margarita at Bar-Eat-O [photo required]
- Take a selfie or pose for a picture while participating in the current academic year.
- Ordering a virgin margarita counts!
3. Play trivia at the Idle Hour [photo required]
- Take a selfie or pose for a picture while participating in the current academic year.
4. Sign the wall at Kelly鈥檚 Saloon [photo required]
- Take a selfie or pose for a picture in front of your name/mark/contribution/artwork during the current academic year.
5. [Knights鈥 Philanthropic Council]
- Link to donate will be available and posted here in the spring semester.
- Remember, you can restrict your contribution to a team, department, organization or program that was most impactful to you during your time at Geneseo.
- List the date you made your gift/donation.
- Seniors who or more will receive a philanthropy honor cord.
6. Complete the .
- Reminders to complete this form will be sent to graduating seniors in the spring semester of their senior year via the Commencement list-serv. The form will collect non-student emails, updated mailing addresses and affinity information for your alumni record and future alumni program invitations.

- List the date you submitted this form in the 2025 spring semester.
7. Pose for 鈥渃ap & gown鈥 photos; individually or with friends [photo required]
- Submit photos of you, with your friends, and/or in front of your favorite Geneseo locations wearing your cap, gown, and/or cords.
- The form can accept up to 5 files (pictures) for this challenge.
- UAA will host two-day (FREE) Cap & Gown Pics photo event on 4/24/25 and 4/25/25 (from 5-9 p.m. each night). We'll post a link to the photos taken at this event for you to download and/or print, and we'll submit your Tradition Challenge completion on your behalf.
- We understand that it's likely that you may not get the opportunity to take these photos prior to the spring study day deadline for challenge completion. We hope you will still consider submitting your photos for inclusion in the Class of 2025's senior year gallery in the E-Yearbook.
- Feel free to use the Traditions Challenge form to submit your photos or visit geneseo.edu/e-yearbook, then "Class of 2025 Student Photo Submissions | 黑料网" to submit your photos directly into the e-yearbook.
Photos submitted online may be featured in the annual e-yearbook and on social media.
