Michael Hughes ’20 has won a 2022–23 U.S. Student Fulbright Austria Community-Based Combined Award to serve in Vienna as an English Teaching Assistant.

Elizabeth “Bizzy” Coy ’06 has won a 2020–21 U.S. Student Fulbright open study/research award for Ireland to earn a master of arts in creative writing at Dublin City University.

Sean McAneny ’20 and Sean Welch ’19 have won US Student Fulbright awards to serve as English Teaching Assistants for 2020–21. Both Seans earned bachelor’s degrees in English and were four-year members of Geneseo’s NCAA cross country and track and field teams. They will be placed in the Czech Republic and Taiwan respectively to live and teach English for a year.

Isabelle Cirulli ’19 has received a 2020–21 US Student Fulbright award for Colombia as an English Teaching Assistant. Cirulli, from Webster, NY, graduated in December with a BA in Spanish and presently teaches Spanish in East Rochester, NY.
