Psychology Student Jobs and Paid Opportunities

Official Post-Bacc Programs (stipends available)

An OITE-sponsored postbac cohort program to support diverse students entering careers in research and healthcare related fields.

The goal of this program is to match student research interests with a basic neuroscience laboratory or clinical branch where those interests might be pursued.

The goal of PREP is to support educational activities that enhance the diversity of the biomedical research workforce.

The goal of PREP is to “strengthen the research skills and academic competitiveness of participants for the pursuit of a Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences”.

The SRF Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship Program, structured like an advanced internship, not only allows participants to work alongside our scientists with a degree of independence, but also promotes their personal academic and career aspirations.

Job Wiki

- A "crowdsourced site that is intended to provide information to applicants about the status of academic job searches" (i.e., whether the position has been filled). They now have a section for "predocs" that lists positions for lab managers, paid research assistants, etc.

Other Paid Opportunities

Faculty frequently forward information they receive regarding research coordinator and lab manager positions at other institutions to the psychology majors and neuroscience majors email lists, so keep an eye on your inbox for additional opportunities.
