Research interests
My research is focused on investigating brain alterations occurring in healthy populations in relation to inherited and potentially modifiable dementia risk factors. In particular, my main interest has to do with the investigation of alterations occurring in the brain鈥檚 vascular system, blood flow and function. For my research I am using non-invasive medical imaging methods which do not involve the use of radiation such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
